This is a medium-sized Agave to about 3' tall and wide. The blue green to gray green leaves show striking bud imprints of the surrounding leaves. This Agave tolerates extreme heat and full sun with minimal supplemental irrigation. It is similar to Agave americana but with a smaller scale. This shrub will grow anywhere from 1'-3' tall and has small gray leaves accented by yellow flowers that bloom in spring. This mounding shrub tolerates salt spray and prefers full sun. Foliage is very fine textured so plant near entryway to appreciate it. Yellow flowers bloom in spring but the focal feature of this plant is the foliage.
